Lending and advising since 1985

Growing communities one idea at a time.

We lend up to $150,000 to Shuswap businesses, including the ones a bank has already said no to, and we help you build the plan behind the loan.

How far we lend

Five loan ceilings, one conversation to start.

Interest is prime plus a risk-based premium. You have up to five years to repay, or fifteen with mortgage security, and there is no penalty for paying early.

Ask yourself first

How much do you need?

Pick an amount on the loans page and we will show you the loan it falls under, how long you have to repay it, and what we will ask for.

Why we do this
Every loan we make stays in the Shuswap and comes back around.

Thirty-eight loans went out across the region last year, most of them under $75,000, and most to businesses a bank had already turned down.
